Cambodia’s trade with international partners reached US $65.25 billion in 2025, marking an 18 % increase from the previous year, reflecting the country’s ability to maintain key export markets. Exports totaled US $31.28 billion, up 17 %, while imports reached US $33.96 billion, up 18 % from 2024.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce, Penn Sovicheat, said the growth demonstrates Cambodia’s resilience in global value and supply chains, maintaining confidence among buyers and markets. Major exports included vehicle tires, spare parts, electrical components, furniture, garments, footwear and travel goods.
Key trading partners for Cambodia were China, ASEAN countries, the United States, the European Union, Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Australia and India.
Commerce Minister Cham Nimul said the rise in exports was driven by government measures to diversify domestic trade, add value in supply chains, promote entrepreneurship and improve trade facilitation. She noted that despite global uncertainties — including geopolitical tensions and border disputes — Cambodia continues to integrate into regional and global economies.
Nimul also said reforms remain focused on strengthening institutions, improving public services and ensuring sustainable development within Cambodia’s trade sector.
